“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.”

We let ourselves die while we are still alive.
We do it every day, one moment at the time.
We do it every time we decide to stay quiet when we want to speak.
When we feel the call for adventure but choose safety and comfort instead.
When we want to change our life but let our dreams dissolve in everyday, mundane life.
When we are waiting for someone to tell us that we are good enough.
When we are waiting to be ready.
Waiting to be sure.
Waiting.
We are slowly dying by doing everything not to die.
Staying safe.
Being quiet.
Saving energy.
Saving money.
Saving time.
But we can’t take that energy with us when we’re gone.
Everything we saved will be taken by someone else.
Just as we are using someone else’s energy to keep ourselves alive.
Our live is not our own.
It’s just our turn to use it.
Don’t be afraid to live.
Don’t be guided by fear.
Don't ask what you can avoid.
Ask what you can do.
Ask how to use that amazing opportunity you were given.
Ask how to be more alive.
How to make one moment last for hours.
How to turn your life into a beautiful story.
And how to die in peace when the time will come.
